Feed Your Craft // Week 10
Welcome to our week ten. I finished this pocket page spread with minimal journaling (one sentence, actually). Does that ever make you feel guilty? I guess that's typical of life's ebbs and flows....or maybe it's just an indication of my energy level when I was putting these pages together? I'm always excited to put these spreads together, but not always excited to come up with insightful commentary to go with them ;)
I've saved a few of my favorite cards from the Make it Matter Feed Your Craft Kit (sold out, sorry), and combined them with the gorgeous Feed Your Craft Moments flat pack. Top left is the "stitch in time" card, and middle middle is the "it's okay" card with FYC mini flair. The die cuts from the Simple Stories Emoji Love Snap Pack felt like a fun addition (the heart eye emoji, and the heart attached to the BW picture of Ava). I actually used "gone" from the FYC Wanderlust stamp set to embellish the picture of our awful chandelier finally being taken down. A perfect fit! On the bottom left photograph, I used a vellum alpha sticker set from Pinkfresh Studio and turquoise alphas from Studio Calico (from an old documenter kit).
The right side starts off with another card from the FYC flat pack topped with a rubber embellishment from Studio Calico. Middle middle is the "currently" card, also from the FYC flat pack. Our Saturday morning cartoons in jammies tradition is stamped with "rise and shine" from Gossamer Blue. Next is the gorgeous wave card from the FYC May kit...I'm so glad these come with digitals because I know I'll be reprinting this one all summer long. I pasted a frame from the Vicki Boutin frame die cut pack, with a little picture of Ava attached behind it. Lastly, is one of my favorite patterned papers from Pink Paislee behind a vellum sheet stamped with the week's dates.
And there you have it. Week ten in the books. Now the countdown begins for the June Feed Your Craft kit....and I'm not kidding....it's my favorite.
