Kellie Stamps // Day in the Life
I wasn't planning to do a day in the life project, but our group over at Kellie Stamps wanted to take it on as a team. Those ladies are amazing and I get so much inspiration from them. Kellie's July 23rd release includes several sets that were perfect for this project. I ended up using the Rise and Shine and I Was Here sets.
This is a super manageable project and I love including it in our family album. It will end up being one page, front and back, and I'm considering adding a tab with the date. I ended up using cards from a previous year's day in the life from Ali Edwards, and three pattern cards from Kelly Purkey (originally 4x4 and trimmed to 3x4). Each of the photos is 2.5 inches tall by 2.75 inches wide. All of the stamps I used in this layout are available today at Kellie Stamps.
The two middle cards on each page include brief journaling on vellum, with the stamps for morning and evening. I really enjoyed documenting a typical Saturday. Weekends tend to be filled with a little more fun, right? Plus, I liked having a few more pictures of Mike than usual. Don't forget to check out the Kellie Stamps July release! Have a great week!
